The rugged CV-12 microphone body and capsule assembly are precision machined of brass. Aesthetically, it features an elegant Cabernet Wine-Red finish, accented with polished nickel trim and grill. Sing it loud and sing it proud. The Avantone CV-12 brings classic tube mic sound to professional and project studios. Designed to offer an outstanding performance, it is equipped with nine color patterns to handle a variety of sound sources including strings, acoustic guitars, drums, and the human voice. Capture true sounds of any instrument or voice thanks to the dual 32 mm gold-sputtered Mylar capsules. Some additional features include a frequency response of 25 Hz to 20,000 Hz at less than 250 Ohms, a sensitivity of -35 dB, and a high-pass of 80 Hz 6dB/octave switch. I guess some of the quality the CV-12 has, comes from the Russian built Valve. The Mic is clear bright but still has some warmth.
