I didn't really know what to expect getting a tablet off of Ebay, but it actually turned out to be exactly what I needed. This Nexus 7 is a great little tablet. It's thin, light, and feels great in the hand, and is a great size for media consumption. From my experience, Its battery life isn't great. It gets the job done, but it's nothing to write home about. I would expect this from a tablet running this older version of Android. I actually used this as a tablet mounted in my dashboard, so it is always plugged in, and always using the GPS, bluetooth, and things like that. It is perfect, and I'm very happy with it.

Almost impossible to use. Did a factory reset and installed latest update. Still Very Slow. My wife went back to using the broken screen iPad

I like the Nexus 7, very easy to use and to set up, especially for someone owns an Android phone (mine is a Motorola Droid Razr Maxx). The ergonomics are nice, as is the speed, screen, and the battery life. However, the one thing I dislike with this tablet is the inability to insert an SD Card, full size or micro. When you're not streaming, it does not take very long to use up what's left of 32GB after the OS and various apps... audio and video files take up a LOT of space (even while compressed). Overall I'd give it a B based solely on the lack of adding additional storage... I don't want to be forced to keep my head in the clouds.
This is generally a decent tablet, maybe not so much anymore in (2016) it still performs somewhat okay at this time. I like it and it helps me with college very much, I have many electronic books that I need to open everyday and the Nexus 7 makes it easier to use E-Books! Good battery life, lightweight, nice design, slim, good camera, etc... Overall 7/10

I am quite happy with the Nexus 7 purchase. It is fast, has a beautiful screen, lots of memory, and is easy to use. It has great voice to text capabilities, much more accurate and faster than my Samsung phone. It updates the OS on a regular basis. A couple negatives for me:Battery life... I always seem to be plugging it in to recharge it. Also,I would like to play movies from a USB thumb drive, but haven't figured that out yet (if you can help with that, I would appreciate it). Otherwise I'm quite happy with the purchase
Good product for the age. It didn't meet my expectations as I would have liked. I purchased it for one specific reason and it didn't work with the application I purchased it for. However, it is a great product for doing quick on the go things when you don't have time to boot up your desktop or are away from home. Entertains my children very well when we are traveling and they want to play a game or color. Will hold plenty of entertaining apps for yourself or your children and it is very convenient for simple tasks.

MY GOOGLE NEXUS 7 IS THE BEST AND ILL TELL YOU WHY! First it does practically everything my laptop does with a few exception of coarse. I bought this tablet because it was the best tablet on the market for its PRICE. Its so very portable. I can take it anywhere. If you have fast internet like me then your nexus is lightning fast! I love its quad core processor. All the features are great and I have almost no need to install additional apps to enhance it. The user interface is smooth and easy to use. I make people "wow"" when I show them my nexus 7. The only draw back to this super machine is the battery. If you are using a lot of apps or gps and updating for example is will kill your battery very quickly. But all this can be avoided if you turn those things off, use the lowest brightness setting, and limit live wallpaper. I have heard of touch screen issues too but have not experience them myself. i think I got a lucky one. Like I said though, other than the battery life this thing is awesome! I always use it for everything I do. If your looking for a 7" tablet and dont wanna shell out the money for something over the top then get this one. Super quick, very responsive and good for the moneyRead full review
I bought this tablet to replace an Samsung Galaxy 7 (1st generation). I have had no regrets and after nearly 2 months of use, I can rate it as one of my best purchases ever because the cons are few and far between and list of pros is still growing. The biggest issue in the con list has to do with app development for Android tablets, which has lagged behind that of the competition. There are many pros however: great size for one hand hold, excellent screen and speed, best hardware-software optimization of any 7 in Android tablet. Then of course, the price. Quite affordable for what you get to the point where I suspect that Google is heavily subsidizing it so that the Asus executives don't sour on the deal. I will also say that I do not wish to have cellular service on a tablet. It strikes me as a luxury I can easily do without. Unless you are already 'hooked' by the Apple ecosystem, you need to consider this as a attractive alternative.Read full review
I am extremely pleased with the ASUS Google Nexus 7 (2013). It is fast, has a great screen, and gets updates from Google every month. It's current running the Marshmallow version of Android. My primary activity for the tablet is to download movies and TV shows from Amazon Prime and play them back later on my TV (I have limited Internet). I have Google Chromecast and Amazon Fire TV dongles, but I prefer hooking the tablet directly to the TV using the slimport on the Nexus 7. It is awesome for displaying the screen and watching movies on the TV using any player...Amazon Video, Google Play, MX Player, etc. I bought mine used, but I think it is much better tablet than the iPad Mini, Amazon Fire, or Samsung tablets that I have owned.

this is my first tablet. I did a lot of searching for tablets and read a lot of reviews before choosing to buy this item. I cannot compare really to other tablets but for the most part I can say that my searches and read reviews were all mostly positive. Also, having used the product for a month now, it has lived up to the reviews. The tablet is wonderful with great features. I would recommend it to anyone looking to find a small yet powerful tablet. The only negative I could say about it really is the camera, wish it had a better built in camera or at the least dual camera (one at the front on the other at the back). But, doesn't really matter much in the end. One of my main factors for purchasing this product is because I enjoy playing games as well and this tablet if not number 1 in its class then I'd say pretty close to it.Read full review
