I've seen many people complain about these laptops, and I don't understand why. Although they may not have needed what it provides, I bought a 13.3" retina macbook pro a few months ago and it's the best purchase i've ever made. In my line of work/studies, I need a fast and reliable laptop that'll do just about anything, and this is perfect for it. I have OS X , Windows and Linux running on it as I use each almost everyday, and it handles the load perfectly. In comparison to a Windows laptop, the battery-life beats it hands down when using memory-heavy programs, and there is no noise whatsoever from the fans (at first I was worried they weren't working due to the silence) The screen's resolution is phenomenal , and there is no comparison to any other laptop. The backlit-keyboard makes using the laptop in the dark very easy, and the design of the keyboard makes it very difficult to mis-type. The features in OSX are very useful, but I would suggest that only tech-savvy people buy one, as they do cost a lot of money. To get value-for-money, you need to know how to put it to it's best potential. (best suggestion is to get VMWare and install Windows for some applications) I think the only thing I dislike about it is the heat-dissipation it uses, as the entire casing is used to dissipate the heat. Sometimes this causes a bit of discomfort when you have it resting on your knees. (and I'm not a mac fanboy, I have used windows for over 10, and continue to use it. This is just a friggin' awesome laptop!)Read full review
As an older mac, I was concerned it wouldn't come as advertised. I couldn't have been more wrong. It was in perfect condition and worked like new. Also came with a box, extension cord, case and special traveling case. I was very impressed.

Device powered, screen had 0 scratches, bottom of device had minor scratches but who cares. Only had a 30 minute window to try out before wrapping it up for a gift but was extremely happy with the product. The only thing that worried me was the device year and description. I guess there was two different models dropped in 2012 and it was worrisome on which one I was getting. Other than that I'm very happy with my purchase.

Well its good I though it would have a disk drive but no the Retina display is better than the mid 2012 Mac book air and also there are some downsides 1st one it smells like a smokers device 2nd one all the keys don't light up but is fine 3rd lonesome tiny dead pixels but I can deal with is 4th one sometimes it heats up while on Mac OS Monterey for no reason 5th and the last one no bumper
