Heavy and Dull
I've reviewed other more recent ZZT albums and have the same to say of this one: if like me you are a fan of the early stuff, and love the sheer speed, musicality and bluesey atmosphere of tracks like "I need you tonight" or "2000 Blues", then this later stuff is a disappointment. It is anodyne, heavy and dull. There is nothing there to match the deft catchiness of many earlier songs, and the album is perhaps best suited to new-era rockers who don't appreciate that the old catalogue stuff is in another league.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
