These may not be for everyone, but for me they are the best solution. Music and voice are very crisp and well balanced. While they are not bass heavy and do not keep some of the ambient room noise out, I have tried numerous headphones at a much higher cost but which do not accurately represent the entire sound spectrum. My hearing is degenerating and I use them especially for watching movies and videos on my computer. I can hear the dialog. All the others I have tried can't do that. Not enough highs, not enough midrange but definitely a balanced bass. The cost is amazing. I bought 3 pair thinking JVC may someday stop making them. With daily use they last about 4 years and then the plastic begins to break. But at the cost, 3 pair was still a bargain.

JVC Flat Headphones in Black
3rd par I have purchased. Use them for travel, at work for listening to presentations and training materials, and at home for listening to music on my PC. I don't like the feel and sound of ear buds. This black pair has a loose color cap on it, does not affect sound quality. A drop of glue should take care of it.

Great little headphones
I use these on stage for personal monitors, plenty of quality for vocals, and music sounds great too, and cuts out some room noise to help keep the signal clean. And they stay PUT !!! comfortable for hours. Great bang for the buck.

Comfort with great sound.

Excellent Budget Earphones
Really good sound for a budget headphone. They are a somewhat fragile, so use them carefully. This my second set, the first set lasted about 3 years before breaking. They are especially good for travel. For me, much preferable to ear buds.
