Small powerful IR Laser
The LaserMax Unimax IR Laser takes up very little space on either a Pistol or Rifle, making it a good choice for those needing an IR Laser that fits in a small space. It also is extremely light weight for those applications where weight is a consideration, and when trying to keep bulk to a minimum... Yet this small package doesn't fall short on performance, with a very bright programmable Laser that can be switched between constant, and pulse, depending on the user's needs. Since the Laser can be set to Pulse, this feature helps distinguish between user's and target acquisition, along with prolonging battery life... ( which is still great for the size of the unit )...! The switch make it easy to activate with either hand since it can be pressed from either side. Over all this Laser is a great option for those who would like to have multiple IR Laser's but don't necessarily need the bulk, weight, size, or performance of a Military PEQ system...Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Excellent piece of equipment! Good for the money!
Great for the Tavor or X95. Very light weight and very adaptable. It seems to be a little dainty, but I haven't torture tested it. Not sure if it's waterproof either. I can tell you that it's definitely accurate and holds a zero on both a Tavor and AR platform. The reason I suggest that it's great for the Tavor is because there isn't an above the rail BUIS that gets in the way. I've had to put it on a riser mount on my AR so that its raised slightly above the BUIS. The only other options would be to mount it underneath, on the sides, or in front of the BUIS. I sometimes accidentally turn the device on but I think it has an auto shut off after 15 continuous minutes. Haven't had to install new batteries yet. There are constant and strobe options that can easily be switched between the two. The laser itself also has a small rail and slot on the top of it. I've been able to attach my streamlight pistol light to it also. For the price, it works very well.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Things you should know
This is a good product, I would buy it again but there are a few things that are not clear in the description. First, this item is the older version, the new version has the logo laser etched in the side instead of a sticker. The new version has larger adjusting screws, the old one has tiny hex head adjustments. The old one projects a beam that pulses, I can live with that, the new one has the option of a steady beam or pulse. Lastly, you cannot see the laser without the use of NV equipment. I was under the impression the beam was still visible with out it, my error. This make adjusting a little tricky during the daylight. It's a great small unit that makes mounting easy. I like it and at 149 it's a great price. Customer support was good also. As far as range goes, it easily goes out to 100 yards, haves tried it past that as of yet.
