Good scope for easy acquisition of moving targets at close range. I recommend when hunting hogs, keep it on the lowest setting until you find them and then adjust from there, especially if you are hunting in a very thick area. Can't believe that Leupold put this reticle on the market...
The heavy "wires" lines are way too thick, so heavy that the words PIG PLEX are superimposed on the horizontal wires. It looks like it should be part of some kids video game. I've tried many scopes over the years and Leupold has always impressed me with their quality. Cheap scopes haven't held up which isn't cheap at all, just a waste of $1-$200. Crystal clear image; great reticle design; unbelievable quality for the price
For the price of this scope, I don't think there is a better VALUE out there! The image is very clear. The reticle is crisp and perfect for hunting; at 4X there is plenty of power for 300 yard shots and at 1X, you are ready for the up-close action hog hunting occasionally brings. Scope power ring turns smoothly; eye piece focuses easily for your eye. Comes with rubber cover for lenses.
