Unlike Samsung III’s AMOLED display, the HTC Windows Phone 8X reproduces accurate colors and has great white balance. HTC claims that at 720p, the display falls into Apple iPhone retina territory as it manages to render the finest details and makes pixels almost invisible to the naked eye. The T-Mobile HTC Windows Phone 8X runs Windows Phone 8, a lively operating system that is easy to navigate. The range of third-party apps on Windows Store has considerably improved, and it has support for most major apps on Google Play. The 8X device retains most HTC apps, including Flashlight, Hub, and Photo Enhancer and Converter. T-Mobile packs it with its own apps, such as Caller Tunes, My Account, T-Mobile TV, Slacker Radio, and 411 and more. Personally, I wanted a phone with a great processor that I could upgrade. Unfortunately, with T-Mobile, Windows 8 is the best you can expect. Having said that, as a phone with Windows 8, it is the smoothest operating phone ever. Heaven forbid there any issues with this such as water or gravity, I will probably never own another phone. In the end, we own phones for how they help us. This handles every app I need. Minus Microsoft Band, that's it. Perfect display, great camera and a three level flashlight. It does it all. why woudl anyone ever buy an HTC 8X
I'll keep this short. I wanted to try a windows phone. what I found is that there are very few apps that work for the Windows phone base. Waze does not speak out loud. Sonos has no app. Can't find a good golf range finder app for free.
