TRASH!! Complete fog over 20X Worse than K-Mart Tasco !!
By far the WORST scope I've ever bought. There was a slight mark on the scope when I opened it that made me wonder if it was reconditioned or new. Next....THEY DON'T USE 1" RINGS!!! It's some odd size larger. They don't tell you this! So I couldn't use my 3/8" .22 rings- and only have one rifle this would fit on. Next- the zoom knob was almost impossible to turn past 30X- huge lump there...but everything turns to fog after 20X anyway. I tried slight pressure right, left, up and down- the tube bends like it's made of rubber...but it never gets good contrast past 20X. It's not a simple internal alignment problem from what I can tell...it's just the worst scope I've ever seen. Now, after waiting a week for this to come from Ontario California I have to ship this garbage back and wait for my money. Save yourself the trouble I have...move on and get something better. Took a chance
Optics were not as clear as i had hoped and it did not dial into focus with any of the mid and long range distances. Gets dinghy when dialing up the magnification and things start to fuzz even in a stand. Would having liked it to drop to a little lower power so it could be used more easily in shorter distance shots. Not bad for the price if it would drop to a 4 or 6 power. Pretty impressed for a low-end optic
I was a little skeptical at first because of the low cost. I put this on my 17 caliber and once I sighted it in i havent missed yet. So far has held a good 0. Very happy for the price. This is my first Barska scope. I mounted this on my AR and found it to be a little larger than I really wanted. I went to range to test fire and was amazed with the optics,150 yards first shot 1/2" right of dead center. Awesome zoom close-up
Unlike other 40 power scopes, this one will focus up close (15 yards or closer) so If you want to see a bug up close you can zoom in at that range. I like the quick focus adjustment on the side rather than at the front. Also I like how the scope zooms in at 50 yards to magnify a small target.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
