Worst Tape Gun I ever had but okay in a Pinch -
I purchased this to replace my very old tape gun, originally purchased from Dollar Tree. This gun will work, but not all that well. While the side plate appears to be metal in the picture, it is plastic. In use this this plastic side caused the gun to distort making neat packing difficult. IMHO save your money and spend a few bucks more and get a better tape gun. I use a number of the really cheap $2-$3 2" hand held tape guns to hold different tapes; even these outperform the product. Lightweight - Cheap Price
For the price it is an okay product. Just been having issues with the teeth to cut the tape, it won't cut the tap very well at all. Cheap Plastic Construction
This is made of very cheap plastic construction. Even the backing plate is plastic, which means the whole tape dispenser bends when you are using it. Would not recommend even to my worst enemy. Spend the extra $5 to buy a quality unit.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Its a great price but it skimps on quality
The way the tape is run through the roller constantly gets stuck and ends up being more of an issue than to just grab the tape roll and tape the whole thing by hand. While I find it lasts up to the price, it doesn't get you much further than that..Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Cheap, not made for comfort, flimsy!
I am packing all day and was disappointed by the tape gun. The handle is very uncomfortable and the plastic strip that helps to activate the teeth to cut through the tape is very flimsy.
