This product made a welcome improvement in steering feel of our 2017 Forester. My wife is enthused about it and notes a big reduction in notchiness of the power assist with reduced play. My impression is of a more linear feel from steering inputs. It is fiddly to install and worth the effort. Recommend working from top and bottom, turning wheel to best access bolts and get the car higher than the Forester jack allows. How Subaru's should have come from the factory...
Takes out those couple degrees of infuriating slop from the steering column for precise course corrections. Does not make vehicle any more harsh, the tires take most of the vibration out so it's not like you feel like you're suddenly steering with a jackhammer.
