At home, I prefer to use dated operating systems and needed a version of Office for mac that would work on my older computers and save file types correctly to function properly on the newer windows computers at my job. The 2011, version of Office meets my needs perfectly.

I will say this, the cost of this old program ($35.00) was a steal for me, because I was spending 10.00 a month for the online version. Now, I must admit, the online version includes all the updates and Cloud Drive; however, I already have icloud for my computer, and I really didn't need all the updates; especially with an old 2006 Macbook Pro 15 . I have the desktop, but I needed something that would work at a cheaper cost. This new software did just that. You do the math; for what I needed, I would have spent $120.00 yearly, as opposed to a one lump sum $35.00 for a lifetime. This is my best choice.
