SynopsisWhen Edie was first published a decade ago, it quickly became an international bestseller. In the sixties Edie Sedgwick exploded into the public eye like a comet--aristocratic, glamorous, and Andy Warhol's superstar. Then at 28 her light fizzled and died from a drug overdose. Alternately thrilling, tragic and horrifying, this book shatters many myths about the American sixties. Photographs.
I have been looking for a decent copy of this great book for months! I used to have a paper back edition, but a friend borrowed it,and I never saw it again. This book is a must for all edie/Warhol/Factory/ fans! It is one of the best books I have in my collection, and I am reading it again, and again, and again...... its a cult classic! And if you can find a first edition (or 1982 Hardback) you will get many more amazing pictures to enjoy!! Its a highly collectible book also.
As shown in the pictures, i was promised to be shipped with the original hardcover with the original plastic book cover intact. This was not true. The original plastic book cover was not attached. No picture on front of the book.
