Recently bought this CPU to revive a 10 year old PC with a 2 GHz single core that was struggling to surf and play videos. What a difference this dual core 2.7 GHz made... now I can watch 720p videos and everything performs so much better... live TV, music, internet... no more glitches and pages load so much quicker. I have 2GB of ram and this more than copes. It's obviously not an Intel or whatever the latest CPUs are called but to revive an old PC it's been brilliant. Straightforward to fix... check out videos on YouTube for fitting CPUs... first one I ever did and no problems. Recommended to revive an old PC... check for correct socket beforehand though.
