Only Option in a Tight Market
Unfortunately HP didn't design the video chip cooling system well and it has caused many models to fail after warranty but before reasonable lifetime use. The spare part market has dried up and any remaining new parts are priced far above their value. Having to re-work the MB is the only affordable option short of throwing it away. The service works well and allowed me to repair the notebook for a reasonable price
