History content good
reread after 30 years, knowing what and how Speer really was the content has a great deal of falsehoods of his (Speers) personal explanations and thoughts. However while those personal aspects can be viewed as false, the historic content is excellent and contains the details a true historian seeks, the often missed 'nuggets' not often seen in a general historic paper of reseach

Enlightenment
Being an amateur student of this history I wanted find a read that would shed light on just what was going on during the chaos of Hitler's Third Reich. This book is it. Speer lived and discloses his part thoroughly. I found it a worthwhile read.
