This is Woodland Scenics wall mounted light. It is 2 mm LED with a 30 inch tail attached to it. You plug it into the linker plugs which comes with them. You can stuff up to 6 wires in each plug so add these to the street lights. A few notes -- one - this unit comes bent and you need to straighten it out. SO do so carefully, I am not sure how much horsing this thing can take. Two - in the instructions it says to attach this with super glue to the building. I would not, I never had any luck With super anything. Use Walther's Goo, just a dab, let it set before turning the building back upright and it is set. As far as light, it is bright and will light up a loading dock area well. Just put it in the middle someplace out of the way of train cars hitting the thing. Over all a good unit - you should have success adding light to loading docks and building sides.Read full review

Color is slightly towards blue, but acceptable for simulating an incandescent bulb. I stripped the "just-plug" plug and resistor, so can't comment on it's application there. I used 10K-ohms in series at 12-volts - very efficient. A little odd that the user needs to "unbend" the gooseneck to get the assembly in proper shape.

A true necessary product for all train layouts. Very prototypical for use on all structure requiring lighting. Easy to apply and hook up with Woodland Scenics's excellent instruction page.

Very easy to work with but it is small but, it is HO Scale. It is a great product. I would purchase again.

Substitutes nicely from the standard molded plastic light fitting supplied with the building kit adding extra sense of realism Especially in a night time running scene
