A wise purchase and easy to install
We became concerned about being able to open our garage door during a power outage when we learned that a number of people where trapped in their garages during the recent fires in Northern California, Granted, there is a manual release, but my wife determined that, with the car in the garage, she would not be able to reach the dangling handle, much less lift the dead door.
