Raise your hunting to a professional level with the Rage Hypodermic Crossbow Broadhead. This item is designed for a tactical hunter because each one features ferrule alignment technology. The shock collars of the broadheads are suitable for strategic crossbows. In addition, the blades on each unit can handle tough targets as the stainless steel material is .035 inches.
I have used hypodermics very successfully on compounds. These are my first for a crossbow and I haven't shot them yet. !!!The instructions are wrong!!!. They say to slip the orange collar over the o-ring and line up a blade with the arrow on the back of the collar. There were no o-rings and no arrow on the collar. I called Ferrodyne (Rage) and they said the instructions ar old and they no longer use an o-ring and some collars don't have the arrow. They went together well and look like they should work fine.
The broad heads that looked to be in original packaging were generic. Blades aren’t sharp wont shave hair or even cut paper nor will new original rage replacement blades even fit into the main body
You can read the debates on rage vs fixed blade broadheads but after using these since day 1 I have never lost a deer and the holes are unbelievable. If you take a good shot and even marginal shots you will find your game. Thats my story and I'm sticking to it. Use your own judgment but my experience is they fly as straight as a field point and when your playing the inch game that counts for literally everything!
These are authentic Rage broadheads for just over half price of what the box stores have them. Shot one arrow from ~340 fps crossbow into a target at 40 yd. Hit within 2" of my field points. So accuracy seems good. One blade did not deploy on the target, but both blades did on the doe I shot a few days later.
