Installed a belt -- it worked
Belts were inexpensive and easy to install. Turned on the DD and it ran with no problems. Belts seemed to be of lighter, more flexible material than the original, so durability is the only unknown. For the amount of use this sweeper gets, 4 belts should last a long time.
