This is a good tank and good replacement fit, I think.
I have to caveat my statement. I believe the tank is a good fit and appears to be good quality. The neck was bent in shipping on mine, which prevented it fitting when I first tried. I was able to bend it back pretty close to the original, and that done, it also fit pretty close to the original. Tank good - FedEx not good!
The fuel tank is exactly like original - or was until FedEx got their hands on it. If I had not been in a hurry to get my pickup running again (tired of driving 8 1/2 ton bus/rv to run errands), I would have rejected the shipment as damaged. Three corners were severely bent and filler pipe was out of alignment - they evidently dropped the box from a forklift several times. The package looked like it had been through a war and was re-labeled as the original shipping label was crunched - they must have used almost a roll of shipping tape to hold the box together since every original seam was torn. Straightened corners and had to mount tank 1/2 inch to drivers side to get filler pipe to go through hole in body, Elongated mounting holes so that it could be bolted in.
