HVAC SOFT COPPER BENDER
Borrowed my buddy's, and had to have one. The only difference is, his has the plastic parts. The copper gets stuck in the plastic, when you bend a 90. The aluminum one I bought, seems better. Also he paid well over a hundred dollars, from a supply house. The ratchet mechanism is a little sloppy, but for the money, you can't beat it. Copper 90's are almost $7.00 dollars a piece. Also less joints = less chances for leaks, you will also use less acetylene. Makes for a neat job, and less chances for fires. Broken before completing 3rd Bend
After first bend we felt tool was clumsy and wasn’t a smooth operation but it made a nice bend in the copper tubing. On second bend it had become a struggle, sticking and not moving the arch into the crossbow. By 3rd bend arched bending form didn’t advance forward at all with tubing in tool or empty. Tool acts stripped or broken in ratcheting handle. Never completed first job of only 4 bends. No AC with this heat and everyone home during Pandemic!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good value for occasional use.

Good Bender at a reasonable price
