Good quality, fine stranded. I use for primary wiring
Bought this wire for 12 volt primary wiring for use with ham radios. the conductor is fine stranded allowing great flexibility. Insulation i more than expected. No matter the application i always advise the use of a properly rated fuse inline. for my applications i always fuse both the positive and negative leads, do to use of different power supplys and equipment inter connections.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

For the very reasonable price for 100ft, I was expecting low quality wire. Such was not the case. Although the wire strands are not not plated as in more expensive product, it is flexible, good quality copper, with good insulation that is easily separated and stripped. I have used this wire to make very satisfactory DC power cables for 100W amateur radio transceivers. The only problem was that the wire had been wound around someone's forearm and then twisted to fit in the shipping box which may made it a little difficult to get it unwound, straight and recoiled loosely without the twist.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
