Get what you pay for I guess
The truck seems really cool at the price point, but was hoping for more reliablility from it, straight out of the box brand new I had to buy a new receiver, b/c I was too impatient to send the whole truck back for Redcat to look at and determine the pairing issue, was better worth my while to buy another receiver from a local hobby shop and see if that fixed it,it did as far as pairing goes.. but then after a short beak in period I noticed a very hesitant start from punching it from dead stop. It really burnt my hide when my 5 year olds traxxas Teton(brushed nimh) and my lipo brushless 3300kv go to race up a hill and not only got beat but the epx never even started up the hill, sits at the bottom and jerks like it doesn't have the power to get up and rolling. I've contacted Redcat numberous times and they want me to send it in for diagnosis, I'm done with this brand unless they step up and replace the esc or motor or transmitter until it's fixed, it's barely a month old.
