I've been buying 1/24 scale diecast powder coated models from CVS for three years. Like this El Camino, they are mass market models, but they still look great on a Tonka stamped steel car carrier. We host an annual reunion where a dozen great kids play with them. Tires can get rolled off the rims, mirrors may get pulled off, but it is an easy matter to replace them; just make sure you collect the pieces before you vacuum. The CVS cars are powder coated; these models are painted; they still hold up to play by children who have been taught to respect Grandpa Jesse's toys.
