SynopsisFor the first time, the major books making up the body of Enochian literature are presented to the public in a single volume. The text contains copious notes and commentaries designed to guide the reader through the difficulties of language, theology, and mystical references.
1 Enoch, and 2 Enoch are absolutely fabulous in the fact that God and Enoch are true friends; However; 3 Enoch should be read with the understanding that it is a dream of rabbi ishmael's some hundreds of years after our living saviors death, and depicts the true feelings of old testament Jewish prejudice. Messiah is half-heartedly mentioned only twice in his dream, while the Christian beliefs of life in heaven are undermined by the actions of higher angels despise towards humans and of angels coveting of higher positions of ruling over the lessor angels in God's kingdom, of which Enoch is portrayed as the lessor YHWH. Joseph Lumpkin, the author does a terrific commentary, and cross-reference.
While there are no complaints towards the author, one should be aware before reading 3 Enoch, that the cornerstone of the ISIS's religion may be here, and 3 Enoch may leave you questioning your Christian faiths, and placing doubt in your prayers to the Almighty and Jesus, blessed be They!
Very encrypting words and hard to read. Following the words requires some extrapolation to get the conclusions to the story. Maybe other versions of this book tell the historical story more clearly.
the first book was ok, but the comments were out in left field,, the other two books were not worth the time it took to read them,, I have the original
