Good weight and balance...will fit in with FMA training...handle grip carving will need getting used to; might want to wear a glove for a few days. Blade is sharp from the factory-leave it alone; unsharpened end is fine for impact blows Sheath is fine for carrying but not designed for a fast draw.

Allow me to disambiguate the language used to package and sell this sweet little tool. It is NOT titanium. I don't think it is even titanium nitrite coated, but some other thing they do in order to get the word titanium promontory on the package leagaly. They don't need to go through all that because it's a great design of a classic tool. Let it stand on it's own merits and stop trying to confuse or impress us, camillus, with the titanium thing! Throws naturally, but will bounce back aggressively if you miss just right. I like it, but it won't replace my Hammer Down Forge wrenchawk!

I was really confused as to what to rate this weird cutting tool. I call it a cutting tool because it could neither perform as an axe or hatchet. Saying that this thing is tiny doesn't portray how small it is until you get it in your hand. I suppose you could use it as a defense weapon but even then its usefulness is limited due to the fact that the spike is not sharpened, though that's an easy fix. On the up side it is very well made and very sturdy. The blade is sharp and the handle has a good grip to it. At the price I would look to something else.
