I'm new to the car, new to the part... It was as described and went in easily. I did notice it was different than the unit I pulled out, which seems to be a recurrent thing with MB part suppliers. Not up to Mann's par
The filter itself was a perfect fit. What failed to fit is the plastic retainer which secures the filter to the housing into which the filter is secured. It was necessary to utilize the original filter's retainer to make the filter element fit. Mann has been good for me in the past (oil and engine air), but this component of the cabin filter was a failure. The takeaway is not to quickly discard the old filter assembly until you have the new filter fitted.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Buy OEM parts from Mercedes. You get what you pay for!
The plastic piece at the bottom of the filter did not work. I broke my finger nail trying to slide the piece over to keep the filter from falling out. It would not fit! Hold on to the plastic piece from the original Mercedes filter. I had to replace the piece on the Mann filter with the old plastic piece to keep the filter in place.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
