I installed a chord from an old heater, mounted it on a stand, set the thermostat and installed the heater the day before we were to get some colder weather. The thermostat was set at 41 degrees F and the outside temperature got down to minus 21 degrees that night. My temperature monitoring device showed 41 degrees all night long and ever since. The heater is working well. The information enclosed with the heater was confusing about how to properly wire the device. There was information talking about how to wire it for 240 Volts. Once I determined the heater was only for 120 volts and disregarded the instructions, wiring was straight forward. I double checked amperage, wattage, voltage before final installation. It was the directions which were wrong. Heater works good as expected. (one week experience)
