Snap on ratchet, it has about 20 clicks in one 360° rotation , all my other ratchets are way finer, my craftsman fine tooth has almost 100 clicks! that is a major issue in a ratchet since you often have very little swing range. It’s a beautiful looking/feeling tool, but the coarse ratchet teeth count is ridiculous.

A very common (actually a 1988) S-O F-720A 3/8" drive ratchet wrench. This particular ratchet is still in very good overall condition. They were originally produced with a clunky low 20 tooth count gear with a one tooth per side engagement pawl. They are upgradable to a 30 tooth gear using kit RKRAF730. They can also accept the 30 tooth quick release kit RKRAF723 for the F723 ratchet, however the sealing head cap would need to be removed to accommodate the quick release feature. Those are the basic upgrade mods for this particular ratchet. I may or may not upgrade this one to 30 tooth. It's factory internals are still in great shape, so there's really no need to mess with something that's not broken. But the body is solid, has good weight and is well balanced. Legendary Snap-On quality, made in the USA!👍Read full review
