Decent way to replace a worn, ugly key fob.
This was a good and economical way to replace an old worn key fob that was beat up had all the white worn off it. Fiat won't reprogram it for you, and of course the key won't fit. You can still buy one of these used key fobs and swap out the key and circuit board from your worn and ugly unit. They are not easy to take apart, but with a little patience and being careful, it can be done.

Spot-on description, item was as good as new; spring mechanism and buttons worked perfectly. I just replaced the interior and the key part- too bad, because the key itself looked way better than my old one!

Cannot be reprogrammed once previously programmed...
In all literature now available, it has come to light that these key fobs cannot be programmed once previously programmed.
