Fits in the earliest Rambler Americans (1958 - 1960) with slight mods.
Installed in a 1960 Rambler American wagon. The odd front motor mount crossmember slightly interferes with the outlet neck, I had to drill the four mounting holes 1/2" lower, to raise the radiator 1/2" for clearance. There is no fault with the radiator; it is 100% AMC correct. These 58 to 60 Americans are hard to fit. For '60 I had to notch the top surround also. There are no "correct" radiators available for this car, these mods are easy and the radiator fits fine now, and has at least twice the cooling capacity of the original.
I'm surprised at how good this product is. I figured it would "almost fit", and require a few modifications...but it bolted-in just like the original radiator. The threaded fittings for the transmission cooler are larger than the original, but a couple of adapters solved that problem easily. So far, I'm very happy with this purchase.
