This is a mint kit. The box is open but the sprues & decals are still in their plastic bags. The sprues are in pristine condition. It has a beautiful color plate for reference. I would consider this kit collectible. It would look good in your vintage kit collection. If you want to build, there are other even better kits on this site you can buy. Save this one for your collection.

A pleasant surprise!
Otaki kits surprised me with their fit and level of detail. They are not complicated, but quite satisfying builds. Also, although my kit was years and years old, to my surprise, the decals applied well and look great. The George is only one of several Otaki/ Arii kits I bought and all have fit together well, including the Ki-43 "Oscar," Ki-44 "Tojo," and the Raiden, "Jack." Otakis are a great buy with many subjects that only Hasegawa produces, but at a much higher price. Affordable and highly recommended.
