Childhood Memories Come to Life
As a boy, my family and I often went to the Glendale, CA train station to watch trains arrive and depart. One of those trains, and probably one I remember most, was the "Daylight" train. So this model train brings back lots and lots of pleasant memories. I'm not actually running it right now, it's merely on display on my bar counter, but it's nice to see. I also have a photograph of the locomotive of this train, and I have that displayed next to the model. So I'm very happy to have this set.
