A somewhat odd model compared to the famous F-91, and not obvious to get a hold of. It’s demands attention and it wants to be a G-Shock when it grows up. It’s classic by all practical means and the light is like the F-91: a small single led by the left edge.
The yellow striping is a conversation starter if someone interested sees it. They will ask if it’s a true vintage model, Japan domestic, or comment in the yellow.
It’s seems to me that it picks up on the general style of the W-85 (and W-86), and that the yellow striping is not a coincidence, but it lacks the water better water resistance.
It’s light, comfortable, and the relatively small size compared to other modern watches doesn’t make it scream for attention, but say “I’m here too”.
It’s a true anti-smart watch, and if you want to join the anti-smart watch movement this is a given. It’s also fits right in your Casio collection too - if you lack one.
Buy two, and keep one for the collection, and one to wear as a beater watch. It’s that good.
