Digital outdoor antenna sure beats the cost of a dish (cable isn't even available where I live); easy to assemble and install.

Antenna works very well, especially for the price. I am able to receive a substantial number of channels. I wish the remote control had a directional arrow to show which way it was turning the antenna without having to have someone else to tell. This feature would be well worth an additional price. At any rate, the antenna sure beats the almost $100 monthly charge for a satellite dish, which offers too many channels that were never used anyway. I live in a hilly rural area about fifty miles from a major broadcast area, but the reception is still quite acceptable. Thanks for a good product.

  • Top critical review

Well made but lacks clear instructions, particularly operating instructions for a novice.

What worked: It brought in many stations well, but certainly nothing close to 990 and I mounted it about 12 feet up on the side of my home. It seems to be well made, What was problematic for me: The instructions for assemble were pretty good, but a lot was left for me to figure out on my own; There were virtually no user operating instructions in the box I received. In fact I still haven't figured out how to make the antenna rotate. Can I find operating instructions for a novice on a web site?

  • Inexpensive and works well.

I put it together (instructions were there but not easy to understand), and put it on a pole about 8' off the ground and it pulls in UHF stations wonderfully... VHF, not so much... this may be incorrect pointing on my part. However, for the most part, the pictures are strong and clear. I'd say it was a good investment overall. The 980 miles, ahhhh, not sure if that's accurate. ; )

  • Pretty good value for the price.

Pros: Easy to assemble, easy to mount. Good signal from a lot of stations in the Rocky Mountains around 100 miles from the source, however I did install it on a 30 foot high mast! Cons: Seems a bit fragile, may not last long. Not resistant to high winds but fairly simple to rotate back into position.

  • Up to 71 channels

The motor unit is a little jumpy so it's not a fine adjustment but I can get 71 channels if I hand turn the antenna. In a couple of instances I can get some stations that are about 50 miles away so it can pull in channels from far away. The 980 miles claim is ridiculous because the antenna would have to be at least 200 feet of the ground. My antenna is maybe 20 feet of the ground and I think getting anywhere from 55-71 channels and I am impressed by this.

  • Brings in more channels than other types I've tried.

Tried other new style flat and round antennas, this antenna blows them away. Receiving more channels than ever, motor and remote work great, but hardly ever need to use them. Happy customer! TC

  • It looks good, but untested as yet.

Recieved package on time, however, there were parts missing. It looked like someone had opened the box, rifled through it and then resealed the box after taking, or losing, parts. I haven't installed it yet as I'm still trying to find a replacement for one of the shorter anteni.

  • Big improvement

Works very well! big improvement from what i had! Cons, parts fit loosely but easy to fix, no instructions for cable hookup! Don't know what the short cable on the back of antenna box is for, Do not use it!
