Economical moisture meter with good accuracy.
The build quality is quite good as the meter feels solid and the battery cover strong enough to last through many uses. The screen is easy to see and understand. It has modes for pin and pinless scanning of wood and building materials and they all work well as the readout is quick and accurate. The instructions for self calibration are easy and quick. I was able to pinpoint leaks in a tile floor and repair the grout without guessing. Also worked for finding the moisture of wood for painting. This tester was able to generate repeatable result on different days which increases my belief in its accuracy. For pinless reading it uses a capacitance system so be careful where you hold the device and ensure it is touching the surface and the the results are good.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
