We looked at hard kayaks but because we camp in an RV and packing would be problematic, we went with an inflatable at like 1/4 of the cost as well. I mean, hey, we looked at the cost of paddles at Cabelas and they cost $45 apiece for their cheapest ones. This kayak includes paddles and it only costed $90! Ok, this is for piddling around in calm water. I wouldn't whitewater in it but as I am 61 and my wife 60, our whitewater days have long passed. It was good for what we want to use it for. One negative is that the bag that it comes in is, frankly, poor. It didn't survive the first trip. Plan on getting a gore tex or some rip stop fabric type bag. We have bicycles and this kayak allows us to pack it on the back of a bike and peddle to the destination. Which sometimes can be a mountain lake hundreds of yards from the nearest road. It works well under that scenario. For the price and what we use it for, happy to recommend. Read full review

We couldn't wait to put this on the water and about an hour into it, our backs hurt, badly. We ended up putting beach chairs in it , the short ones. I would also like the chairs to be elevated. We received it in a timely manner, the plastic is durable and a great buy with the paddles and pump included. If it wasn't for those seats would have given it 5 stars.

Ok , this kayak is awesome, we have 2 kids so we purchased 2 kayaks. They are sturdy and track well in the water. The only downside, and it seems small but it's very important, they do no have a securing pin for the skeg. If you have the kayak on land with the skeg on it will pop out of the slide spot and sink. It's black, you'll never find it. I found a replacement skeg on eBay made by an engineer out of a white elastic that floats. It fits very securely in the slide and actually helps of the kayak to track better in the water.

Great kayak to throw in the back of your car for calm lakes and rivers. Easy to set up and fold back up, but the paddles are way too small and do not match the need for the width of this kayak (especially if you are under 5'5" or have short arms). I'm planning to try to make some simple pvc attachments to attach to the existing paddles to see if that helps. The boat is pretty solid and of good construction, but as expected with a inflatable boat the boat tends to get pushed around by the wind a lot. Overall it's a good boat for the price and a cheap easy way to get out on the water if you are on a budget or have limited storage like me.

Bought the two person kayak. Takes four minutes to inflate the kayak with the included pump. takes twenty from start to finish including inflating seats and putting them in and ready for the water. I wish they included folding instructions as you need to get it right to get it back in the bag. The pump should have a deflation mode to pull all the air out. One thing I ran into first time out is the valve unit has a retaining ring to keep you from loosing it. Make sure that ring is in place and not pinched between valve unit and the valve seat welded to the kayak. The rudder could come off and sink, so I attached a string from it to the kayak. Last thing is the clear plastic gauge they give you will get lost when you put it down. It is clear with two little lines on it and not easy to spot. I made one of yellow plastic and put the two lines on it 10 CM apart. The kayak tracks well and moves though the water very nicely. Read full review

Just took the K2 out for the first time last week so I did not know what to expect - Overall I think it is good value! I was impressed on how easy and quick it was to set up and get it in the water. I was in a small lake and there were hardly any waves so it worked real well. I would have gave it a 5 star had I put through harsher conditions.

These little kayaks (I bought two) are perfect for the kayaker who just wants to get on the water for some R & R. I really like the portability and ease of set-up. I bought the 2-place even though there will probably be no more than one person in the boat but I like the extra room for a small cooler or accessories. I would highly recommend this kayak and because the price is reasonable, if you don't use all the time you don't feel like you wasted your money. Plus storage is great--just fold up everything and put in the bag!

Extremely durable and stable for an inflatable kayak. Wouldn't recommend in strong currents, but perfect for calm and mild conditions. Only takes ~10 min to inflate with hand pump. Paddles are a little flimsy, but get the job done. 4/5

I am a great-grandmother 79 years old and love to play in the water, I was able to inflate it, put the paddles together, etc. and enjoyed using it. It is stable and handles great. I can even carry it from my pickup to the water. Is well engineered and great quality. When I can't go out in my boat, I will go with my kayak.

We love the convenience of throwing this in the trunk and heading to the lake. It’s good quality and inflates very quickly with the included pump. On the water it definitely gets the job done, but the seat support leaves room for improvement. Since the seats are no more than inflated plastic pillows, you have a tendency to slouch and slide. Seats on a real kayak offer a firm back support, but these are certainly not firm. Probably ok if you are a smaller person.
