A Full Body Workout in the palm of your hands. Legit:)
I've had them for two weeks and so far they seem to be super durable and boy are they serving my purpose. I feel like I am getting a true workout every session for all body part - squats, deadlifts, bench press, shoulder press, bent over rows, bicep curls, tricep extensions...you get the idea. I can't believe I get all this with just two pieces of equipment:) The only drawback so far. Sometimes, after I've knocked out a super heavy set i get a little frustrated when the dumbbell has difficulty sliding seemlessly back into its holster. But, hey, no big deal. Just helps me practice patience. So grateful for these magical muscle building devices. THANKS BOWFLEX!!!

Great if you dont have much space.
It is really great that I dont have a garage full of dumbells anymore. I do a lot of workouts with just dumbells and these are perfect. Would reccomend to anyone who doesn't have much space. Really love the price, quality and ease of use!

Great overall but small things about it make it a hassle
The product overall is great but things I dont like is the handle construction and how sticky the gears get when trying to change weight. The handle is hard thick plastic so theres no grip and its very wide towards the middle. The dumbells themselves are not as long as I thought they were going to be so I am happy about that and they also have good balance for the most part even though the weights want to spin in your hands when you first lay down to press them. Theres a lot of good about them but just small things make it a little annoying.

Wish I would have started with the 1090's
I got a pair of the 5/52. They were great but found I never used weight below 10lbs. Now that I have these 1090's I do not use the 5/52s as much. The only trick to these is learning how to hold them. They have a tendency to roll in your hand as the bottoms are heaver than the top. Interestingly on the 1090 the handles are squared to help prevent roll.
