Great spotlight cam if you pay the extra three dollars a device or $10 for all devices a month you can see the alert that goes and gets sent directly to your phone via the app if you do not pay for the app subscription then you will just get an alert saying there’s motion and then you will only be able to see what the motion is if you watch the live view it will not keep a record of it you will only see the live view and also I’ve noticed with all the ring devices I have there is a bout a 3 to 4 second delay from the time the The motion is detected to the time the alert is sent to your phone. there are other items out there that do not require a subscription and you can keep recordings and go back and see them for free the ring does not offer any of that for free only the live view but the quality of it is nice and if you’re willing to pay 10 extra a month for home security then it works decently but like I said it’s a bit pricey and I did not know about the subscription that is not required but it is required if you want to see alerts that have previously happenedRead full review

Ring video flood cam has a great wide view, can set coverage trigger areas and very good night vision in low light. Floodlamp sends alerts to smartphones, tablets or computers that have the ring app. You can also zoom into a specific area in your coverage area. The only slight dislike is a 5 to 10 second delay on notification of intruder. Comes with everything you need to install it. Can be mounted on wall or easement of roof. Security is a great thing.
I love love love my rings. I bought four floodlights and they are worth every penny. The security of knowing when someone is near your house is so comforting. I can sleep better and relax better. You can’t put a price on the kind of security. The only draw back is spider or insects. Wasps are bad where I live and a wasp or a spider making a web will set the motion sensor off but other than that it’s my most favorite security system for the money.

I have two Floodlight Cams and just ordered a third, I also have one Stickup Cam with Solar Charger and a Ring Doorbell. I love them all and customer service/support at great. THE MOST IMPORTANT factor is the distance your Ring device is from your router, I'm using two range extenders and they all work great. Most of the complaints I've read prior to buying was clearly due to weak wifi. The stronger your wifi the better image quality and reliability. I highly recommend these and have installed two at my sisters and soon to be a third.

Ring Floodlight - Great System
We already had the Ring doorbell, which we love. The Ring floodlight is another great product with even better features. It was extremely easy to install and set up. It has a nice feature which allows you to precisely adjust the motion detection zone to avoid unnecessary false alerts, and allows you to turn the light on and off remotely. Haven't used the siren feature yet, but it's nice to have if needed.
