Clear picture, impressed!
Easy to hook up, and set up via the wifi feature. I was impressed by the picture quality. Not too sure about the night vision claims, but I haven't driven at night to check, just looking at clips recorded while the car is sitting in the driveway it doesn't look like much for the NV feature. Not so good video quality.
This has a solid sturdy build. The WiFi is a nice feature. Unfortunately, it has flaws. The video quality is horrible. My iPhone 6 records better video. The screen goes black and displays the time which is nice so you aren’t starting at the video while driving but date and time has to be set every time it’s powered up. The loop record feature didn’t work. I watched several videos on it online before purchase and they all recommended it so maybe I just got a bad one.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

It's okay. Good video quality
It's not true 4k recording if you actually look at the specs but it up-converts. Regardless, the image is crisp and nice. I've experienced that bug with the inaccurate time in the screen saver someone else mentioned; annoying but not a big deal. What does bother me are that for some reason, sometimes there are moments where the video playback doesn't play sound as if there was an issue with the mic. The other thing that bothers me is to connect to the dash cam with your phone its with an app BUT it's only if you enable the dash cams wifi which if you are streaming music you better make sure it's music you've downloaded to your phone and not just using the music that streams from the app because there will be a point that the music stops because basically you're data connection is only between your phone and the cam. This also affects navigation apps like waze where you'll see a message that it's searching for a network because your data is only enabled between your phone and the the cam. You still receive phone calls so that part isn't an issue but it screws up everything else that requires data while you're connected to the camVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

A decent product at a good price
Easy installation, Product manual could be improved, many operations are not explained in the manual. The view screen is a little on the small side. I installed this product for my parents that are well in their 70's. There's no way they could have installed it or could have even figured out how to operate it. Luckily once installed and functional it pretty much runs. If they ever need to retrieve video from the unit they'll need help but at least it's there helping to protect them.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Can't go wrong with this dash cam
It has great video quality, easy to download to your phone through Bluetooth. The only problems I have with this dash cam is you have to set the time and turn on the motion dey every time it's disconnected from the power source and they did not mention that you will have to provide your own SD card. Comes with the wrong directions!!!
You first need to format sd card to a computer then format it to the unit! I don't have a computer..I'm returning mine!!! Learned this info from help desk. Tried it like the directions say but there wrong! This thing has been a real pain the A$$!! I'm computer challenged but that would not make a difference if it came with correct directions!! Got tired of buying cheap dash cams that failed after a few months. Spent the money to get a quality camera. Very pleased. I like being able to adjust settings and watching videos on my phone. I used existing cable with new camera but would not work correctly. Must use included charging cable. Overall I will be buying one for two other vehicles.
