    Good grip.

I really like the added rubber palm swell of this grip. I installed one of these on my Shield 40 2.0 first and it was hard to install, but this one for the Shield 45 2.0 was extremely hard to install. It is of good quality and makes my hand feel like it sticks to the grip really well. To install, I put this in heated water to soften the rubber and sprayed Windex on the pistols grip. It was still extremely hard to install, but overall, it is half the price of Talon grips and I feel just as good.

To Small For S&W Shield 45

On of the guns this grip is listed as being for, is the S&W Shield 45. It is to small for this gun. It will rip when you try to put it on. For the smaller guns listed, it works fine. Just don't try to put it on a Shield 45.

  • Calling Superman!

Typical, well made grips from Hogue. The problem with this model requires fingers of steel and the patience of Job to get the grip on. It took me a solid hour of struggle against the powers of darkness before finally accomplishing the mission. Once in place, they felt just fine and made a 100% improvement in comfort and gripping power but not a good choice for the timid or weak minded!

  • A great addition to my Smith & Wesson M&P Shield 45 ACP

This has been a great upgrade to my Smith & Wesson M&P Shield 45 ACP. I carry this pistol everyday. Before I put this Hogue grip on the grip of the pistol would rub my skin raw. It has a very aggressive grip and if you carry inside the waist band you are going to know it. Plus I always thought the grip was just a little to skinny for my hand. So I thought I would give the Hogue grip a try. I'm very glad I tried it too. The Hogue grip was very easy to put on. Just follow the instructions and it goes great. It also took care of the issue of rubbing my skin raw. I have no issues whatsoever with that ever since I put it on. Plus it added just enough thickness to make it feel perfect in my hand. Now I can carry my Smith & Wesson M&P Shield 45 ACP all day and not even know it's there. And it gives me better control when shooting and doesn't move. So it makes the Sheild 45 even better. I would tell everyone to get one

  • Great grip. Tough to get on Shield .45

Excellent product that makes the narrow Shield .45 M&P 2.0 ACP handle more usable. This one is TOUGH to get on, see Youtube for good tips on how to work it into place. I soaked it in 190 degree hot water and used Glass Plus as lubricant. But even still, I needed a heat gun and a ball end hex driver as a lever to get Glass Plus between grip and handle, and to slide it up.

  • Extremely satisfied with this product.

This grip is by far superior to the soft rubber so grip without finger groove. My Kahr cw9 single stack handle is quite small in my hands, so I bought the other brand soft rubber hand grip without finger groove thinking the softer rubber would give more grip but I couldn't have been more wrong. I'm a good warm day at the range my hands tend to get a little sweaty, and that soft rubber held on to the sweat & oils from my hand which made it very unstable when firing. Even when I washed it with dish soap it didn't stay dry feeling very long, so it did not have that grippy sensation in my hands ever. But this new Hogue grip with the Finger Groove & Dove tail, molded into my hand like it was made just for me. It always feels stable in my hands, and it also doesn't hold on to the oils from my hand like the soft rubber one did. I will say I was a little concerned when I first tried to put it on my gun because it is not super soft and stretchy rubber and I thought it was too small until I read the instructions LOL so after I put it in boiling water for about a minute it softened up enough 2 snuggly work it up the handle grip and positioned fairly easily. But now that it is cooled off it feels like it is a part of the gun as if it come off the assembly line already molded into the handle. So I highly recommend this to anyone that needs a little more confidence in their grip when firing their gun. I will be purchasing this brand of grip for any and every handgun that does not already have the finger mold in the grip.

  • Hogue Grip Sleeve #18300 - PPK/S .380

Product arrived via USPS on time. Fully packaged without damage. Grip was quality made, light and as described. Yes you must heat the rubber sleeve in boiling water. I did 3 times until it stretched to allow the ability to slip it up the hand rip. Don’t give up, it will eventually work it’s way into position. It’s a very tight fit as it needs to be. Follow directions exactly. Once on it allows for a comfortable hold without adding a larger profile. Perfect!

  • Nice grip

It is a nice grip. even though I couldn't use it. I bought it for my SCCY CPX-2 because I wanted the beaver tail and it said it would work albeit with a lot of work. I bought a heat gun and worked with it for hours. It eventually ripped. If you have a sccy or any double stack mag, don't purchase. I ended up with the 17110 Hand All grip for my sccy. Just a forewarning. That being said, there is nothing wrong with the grip as I have one on my Shield 45. It fits and looks great and is comfortable.

  • Worth the effort

Extremely hard to get it started on the pistol grip. t helps to heat it up in hot water and to occasionally reheat with hair dryer as you work it up the pistol grip. Makes the grip fill your hand better with the slight palm swells. My wife prefers the feel over the original aggressive texture.

  • Hogue Handall

It really adds an element of tactile gripping feel, that helps you control the pistol. I installed one on a Kahr CW40. Its a job getting it on the grip. I heated my Hogue Handall with a hair dryer. Of course the gun has to be completely unloaded first. Just realize that it doesn't just slip on. It takes some consternation. However, once you work it in to its final position, it looks and feels great. It seems to form itself to your gun's grip.
