Makes a much more appealing julienne than what I previously used, the 3X3 mm julienne blade disc. It cut through carrots and broccoli stalks well to make a nice looking broccoli slaw, and beets were easily processed for a beet salad. You can't process too much at one time, and sometimes the processed food gets stuck in the cutting slots which has to be dislodged by rinsing the disk and/or dislodging with a pointy tool.
