For me this would be a last resort for brewing a pot of coffee. The water boils for a very long time before it finally starts to perculate. After waiting 20-30 minutes for 2 cups of coffee it tastes watered down. Bottom line I would recommend seeking out a better source for brewing your cup of coffee!

the construction and quality are on the weak side meaning the perk bulb is plastic, the fit of the perk bulb to lid is not tight, the steel is thin and the hinges are fragile all for a premium price. Sadly, not out there of quality for the price.

If you're too young to remember what "PERKED" coffee tastes like you've missed out on something really tasty. You just can't get flavor like this with drip coffee. As far as the coffee pot itself.... I like it because it's small. I can make one or two cups....it stores away easily....it's made of stainless steel NOT ALUMINUM (aluminum is terrible for coffee). The down side is is it is a bit flimsy....but that's not a deal breaker. I really like it

It’s just the right size for my husband since he is the only one who drinks coffee. Also for our motorhome when we take it out. Doesn’t take up much room either.

The coffee come out of the top of the pot when the coffee is perking. What can be done?
