I have had this product installed for over 4 years now and an generally satisfied with it. The control unit has a reputation for having a finite life...mine died after 3 years and I replaced it with a generic 3 way lug-in dimmer. The Xenon bulbs give off a good light, and are dimmable. I prefer them to the non-dimmable LEDs, so purchased this product so I could have spare parts (2 of the pucks went bad when bulbs blew and welded themselves into the sockets.)

We've had these under cabinet lights in our kitchen for years. They have proven reliable and the three level adjustable capability works extremely well. The only drawback is that they are being replaced by LED lamps. So if a problem arises with the controller module (the system's weak point) you will soon not be able to replace it. We bought this set just for the control module because one of ours quit. And I plan to install the lamps from this set in a large storage closet with just a wall switch and wall outlet to control them. In sum the lamps and overall system is well designed and works well. But the downward slide in availability of replacement control modules may limit their suitability for long term use.
