A well designed massager.
I've owned other types and bramds of kneeding massagers but the design flaws made them awkward and uncomfortable, even painful to use. This unit is more compact and has a better design and build. The back of the unit is somewhat flexible so seems to better contour to my back when I lean against it in a cusioned chair or sofa. The rotating knobs are less protruding with flatter tops to produce a more comfortable rubbing action. The motors seem far less inclined to bog down when heavy pressure is applied to the running unit as a result of this design as compared to the others I've used. This design is simple to use, easy to operate, much lighter weight than the others I've used, more compact yet more effective. This unit also features a 12v adapter for use in a vehicle and it has elastic straps to secure it to a headrest for a nice neck massage with heat while cruising. It's design also easily adapts to massaging many areas and nearly any body part or muscle group. Great on calves, feet, thighs, arms, back and neck, that's all I've tried thus far. I can't yet comment much on the product longevity of use but so far....I'm impressed and pleased. I definately recommend this massager. Based on my other purchases over the years, I think any price up to 50 dollars is a fair price. Some days it's well worth that in just one use for the relief it provides me. Does not actually heat
The product has a zipper u open up and u can clearly see 4 led lights that are just colored red but do not actually produce heat but the motor function works forwards and backwards I do recommend it for that it does have a auto shut off after a couple of minutes but u lift your body and it set back down and it automatically turns back on.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Rec'd product this afternoon and immediately unpacked and plugged it in. Wow! I love it! The strength of the ball massage is surprising in so small an article, the heat provides immediate comfort, and the product can be used on any body area - for me right now behind the knee of one leg. Am likely to have it on my upper back before long. This Shiatsu heated massager is every bit as good as the other reviews stated, and better! Have already recommended to a friend with severe arthritis and another with pinched nerves near the spine. This will heat, massage, and comfort any area, loosening the spasms and aiding in enhanced blood flow which assists in healing. If this dream of an appliance did nothing else, I would want it simply for the huge comfort factor! However, it is already, with one use, aiding me in better walking ability! I have back and knee pain that has caused other pains, in my calves and feet, due to how I walk/carry myself with these injuries. the thing exploded after 5 min use
The thing is not perfectly comfortable but still ok. However after the first 5 min use the adapter EXPLODED in front of my face. Thankfully nothing inflammable was around, only my iPhone charger was burnt, otherwise someone else has to write this review and maybe a eulogy for me. I request a FULL REFUND IMMEDIATELY.
