Very impressed with the product and installation was easy.
I was a bit nervous about buying this Kono Lux, but after few research and clicks on the web, I went ahead! It has been three weeks and counting, I have never experienced any issue. Set up was way smoother than I expected - (I watched many youtube video on how to set it up before and while I was installing the unit). If you follow the instruction carefully, there will be no issue. The thermostat unit needs to be a lot more firm with its wall frame, - my old Honeywell thermostat requires a lot more effort to remove than this Kono Lux. It can literally come-off with no effort while holding it - this happens many times while I was going through the installation and setup process, but its firm enough to stay as long as you do not touch it. The best part is.... I can ask Alexa to adjust house temperature without lifting a finger!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good thermostat but it needs more features.
Its a hood thermostat for the price easy to control from your phone. I wish it had more features like peogram times for fan to come on/off. Other than that its a good thermostat but not as sophisticated as google nest thermostat. This unit is so nice so far , it worked out of the box in 10 minutes I configure wifi and register to their website.I like the basic feature , and compare to Nest $200 this one I found $59 and extremely happy with this purchase on ebay, I received these two brand new company sealed. Its little bigger if you want to compare with Next product but , I am happy with thermostat itself, I do not care if its round ( like Next) or square , It controls my heat AC and schedule, filter replace , and set away settings , so I am happy with what I have got from this purchase.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Easy seat-up if you C wire is there
Thermostats are not complicated to replace. This thermostat isn't either but there is a but. Assuming you have a new house our furnace you may not need to worry. This thermostat does not have a battery for power or backup and used the C wire (black or blue wire on t-stat) for its power. So you should have 5 wires going to your thermostat, red, yellow, green, white, and blue/black, you may also have two red wires depending on your setup. If you have 4 wires, this unit comes with an adapter that you have to hook up to the furnace then to the t-stat wiring. Its not difficult and the book tells you what to do or technical support is very helpful with this also but not everyone is going to want to crawl into their attic or wherever their furnace is at. Just because your C wire is behind the t-stat doesn't mean it is connected to your furnace. This was my issue and required rewiring at the furnace to make the t-stat work properly. So it took a 5 minute project take a few hours. Once everything was hooked up, the fan was on. Downloaded the app, and was able to control everything from that. Not sure if it defaults to turn the fan on but just a FYI if it happens to you. It is nice to be able to control from my phone so if I am away or to lazy to change the temp. You can still control by the knob on the front. You can also program a schedule and lock the thermostat from sticky fingers trying to change the temp. No fees associated with the app. I think this will help say some money in the summer time and can always be removed and taken to a new home.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Lux Kono Wi-Fi stat
Very good value. Appeared to be new in box. Very easy install. I had a little trouble at first pairing it with my iPhone. Then I figured out all that was needed was to do a Firmware Update . I have been using it for only a week but so far so good. 1 big reason I chose the lux t-stat was for the adjustable Swing. I had a Honeywell and it seemed like you would walk by it and would turn on. Great deal for 80 bucks. Even 150 retail for Lex Kono Smart, would be better than Nest retail.
Great deal I got for 80 bucks instead of 150 retail. However, I had to call the company to reset the registration, as unit had been registered under another persons account. It would not link to ipad or allow me to connect without the reset. Kept getting errors before this. Was sold as new, but apparently...not exactly new. Enjoying it now though, as thermostat is upstairs, and I live in basement apartment, and can control with my android phone. Does not work doesnt support their product
Worked for a week. Then disconnected from the server. Called first CSR horrible managered never called back. Second CSR did good but still couldn't get it working.
