This was very easy to set up (5 mins max) simple park the car at the desired stop in the garage and press and hold down the button on the unit. That’s it! It’s very accurate. I have two minor problems though. First, there should’ve been an on/off switch so when the car is already parked or it’s out of the garage persons can move in the vicinity of the sensor without setting it off. Secondly, it should’ve come with facility to screw mount it on the wall instead of using Velcro or dbl sided adhesive. It’s still a good product nevertheless.

I read a number of reviews online which said that the Parkin sensor works well, but that batteries run down very quickly, so I also ordered a 6v adapter (wall wart). I cut off the connector and simply soldered the wires to the terminals inside the battery compartment. The system does work well and is very accurate; the light changes to red at exactly the distance I set. I never need to worry about batteries fading, and the adapter cost less than a packet of AAs anyway. Win-win! I believe later versions of this sensor have a USBc input which can be used as a power source avoiding the need for soldering.

The product never worked as it was represented to do.. Tried several day reseting. Never got the green, yellow, red signal as it was suppose to provide. The light would come on white remain on. When the set button was pressed, multiple color lights would come on and remain on for a short time the go out completely. Tried pulling the car into the garage several times after setting light and if light was off, never turned of as I pulled in. Following instructions, I tried several times with nothing happening as it should.

Helps you park your car in the garage exactly where you want it. Adjustable distance. Worth the money over the hanging tennis ball.

I had to find a device that would assist my wife with not parking to far forward in the garage. I bought this and it works perfectly. 2 things to know: it uses 4 AA batteries and they send 2 small velcro strips for mounting. I knew it needed to be mounted better. I went to Walmart & spent 30 mins looking for something I could fit the display head into and mount to the wall. Finally in the Office Supplies section I found a pencil holder ($1.59) made of plastic. The display head is a little wider than the cup but otherwise it was a perfect solution. I used my Dremel to cut out the sides and front so I could fit the display in and cut out a hole to drop the bumper sensor thru. This was a great solution. I am attaching a photo of the mount so you can see what I did. I'm not a Picaso but it works great. Read full review
