ALMOST PERFECT...
A great little saw - probably the best in class. It feels well built, even though a lot of the body is plastics. The included blade is excellent. The size, weight and footprint are ideal for a small/tiny workshop. However, the reason for 4 stars is what's missing - a rip fence. An essential item for precision hobby work (I had to make my own). Also, the working edge of the miter gauge is too low (I had to add height by screwing in a piece of wood). Finally, it's very expensive (yes, it's a German company, and it's a specialty item, but c'mon). For this price it better be good for a lifetime!

Great light hobby saw
Nice band saw for lighter hobby needs. Definitely not for heavy cutting. Yes, it is very pricey, but the quality is there. Goes well with tools like the dremel 4" table saw and small disc sanders.

Small project saw
The saw would be great for small stuff that needs cut but, doesn’t have the power to cut through metals very well. They need a more powerful motor like a 1/3 horse power. There communication is great. They reply back quickly. If they was to give the saw more power I would definitely recommend it.
