The title says it all ultra
Seimens pockettio was best hearing device I had found for me to hear clearly, tried many cost a lot. After many years of great operation it stopped working. Williams pocket talker ultra replaced it, reviews highly recommend this unit at fair price so thought I would try it as I needed a quick replacement, at a fair price. This unit out performs the Seimens though it is not digital it is fantastic, sounds are normal, well made, may outlast me.I would highly recommend the Williams pocket talker ultra to anyone having impaired hearing. I Really Like My Williams Sound Amplifier (but I wish I had received all the parts)
Finally, I can watch TV and understand the words. For example, I can now understand every word on ALL IN THE FAMILY reruns, which was always an impossible show for me to understand. The battery is long-lasting, too. I have watched hours of TV and haven't noticed a drop on the battery strength. ONE GRIPE, THOUGH: I have mentioned on two reviews that my system arrived WITHOUT the clip that attaches the remote microphone to the tv. Pocketalker Best Device for RSHL Condition
I have rare Reverse Slope Hearing Loss, which means my low frequency hearing is defective. Regular hearing aids, no matter how expensive, are basically useless. The Pocketalker is analog, and enables me to boost the bass, low frequencies, so it works very well for me. My $6,000.00 Oticons sound like Donald Duck, while the Pocketalker sounds great.
